After 9 weeks of fretting, i finally received my face 2 face assesment fo pip, and its tomorrow!
Or
It was....till i received this...5 mins ago...
This is a message from Independent Assessment Services about your PIP consultation. Please can you call or textphone us straightaway on 0800 188 4881 to discuss your appointment.
My heart sank as i phoned and sure enough....cancelled.
The nice scottish lady was so apologetic and managed to rebook it for 28th, but not before asking if i could attend one today.(theory overload!)
So now ive another 2 weeks stress to look forward to.....oh joy!
Any advice?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Smoothy
Sorry, this has happened to you. The only thing I would recommend you do is that you write to both to IAS and the DWP confirming that is was them who canceled the appointment and you have booked another one - just so if anything went wrong - it is on record that it was them who canceled and not you, and this should still be down as your first appointment.

Hi, my husband was supposed to have his PIP F2F at 9 am this morning. All ready to go with about 40 minutes to spare when the phone rang to cancel it! (we live approx. 6 minute drive away). Apparently the person who was supposed to do it called in sick! It has been rescheduled for 30 August. I'll definitely be writing to them to confirm who cancelled!
