For Question 5 - Managing Treatments, there are various descriptors, e.g. f. Needs supervision, prompting or assistance to be able to manage therapy that takes more than 14 hours a week. 8 points.
I can interpret this two ways:
1. A person needs therapy and in order for this to successfully happen they require supervision, prompting or assistance for more than 14 hours per week.
2. A person requires therapy which takes more than 14 hours per week and in order for this to successfully happen they require supervision, prompting or assistance (not necessarily for the full 14 hours).
I am wondering which interpretation is correct? Or whether there is actually a totally different legal position that is not well represented by the official descriptors?
It is the latter so if you had some therapy that lasted an hour and you needed assistance; as an example, for five minutes at the start and at the end, then that is ten minutes in regard to the activity and not the whole hour.
Remember that the therapy has to be in your home.
