2 Week PIP Extension was created by Ultravox
Hi All.
What with my 91 yr old Mum being in Hospital with Pneumonia I know find it necessary to ask for a 2 week extension on my DLA to PIP claim form. If I ring the DWP, does the 2 week extension start from the day I ring them (e.g today) or the date to be returned by of 29th August 2019 stated on the form.

Sorry about your Mum.

The two-week extension issued by the DWP will be two weeks on from the date you were originally given. You can safely ring them now and ask for the extension.

Hi All,
Just for informatoins sake, got home from the Hospital this evening to find a letter from the DWP
offering me the 2 week extension and now have been given a date of return of form of 5 Sep 19. But still best to ring if you don't receive a letter!
