I had a letter from the DWP dated 9th August to let me know that they now have enough info to decide if PIP can be awarded. The last letter took nine days to reach me. My question is this, if there is a negative decision already in the post on its way to me, does it mean that my sceduled DLA payment will not go into the bank as usual? Many thanks!
When the decision letter is sent out, (whatever the result) you will be given notice of when your DLA is coming to an end. As you have a current award of DLA, it will remain in payment for a further four weeks once the Decision on your PIP claim is made and either PIP will take over or all payments would come to an end if you were awarded nothing.
