Nurse from hell was created by peter
Dear me i never expected that on Wednesday.tbf i have always been treat well and respectfully at any face to face assessments. But this charming young lady claiming to be a nurse blew away any previous good experiences.I suffer from serious diverticulitis and next step is a resection which i aint ready for just yet and need time to think about the hazards of it.I'd been on antibiotics and buscopan for 2 days prior due to a flare up of condition.Didnt feel well enough for appointment as on 3 day fast and copious amounts of water, but me and wife went anyway.Staff at the door and on the desk all spot on.3pm came and the door flung open with no one to be seen but my name being called out.set the alarm bells off in me that lol.Anyway me and the wife got up to follow her as she let the door swing closed infront of me.got a feisty one here i thought! sits down and she says to my wife "so who are you" i replied my wife.she wern't a happy bunny now.Next blunt question was "ok tell me about your bowels".i was just gobsmacked regards how to answer such a blunt in ya face question,so asked what do you mean? i find it uncormfortable as a 52 year old man talking to a slip of a kid about my problem.she knew that as it was explained in the return form she was reading from.cut a long story short i dont know the outcome of my reassessment all i know is this young lady was a disgrace to the nursing fraternity with her hostile and aggressive interrogation of me on Wednesday. She asked me where i bought my incontinence pads and could i show her.i refused so she asked me to describe what it looked like.thought my wife was going to knock her right of her chair.I had several conditions on esa form and letters showing surgery required and PTSD diagnosis back in 2010.she ignored all of them didn't look at letters and didn't discuss my mental health.all this took 14 mins from sitting down to standing up and leaving room without her even saying goodbye.I got her name and a complaint is going to DWP tomorrow regardless of my award, folk should not be treat like that by anyone.

Hi Peter
Sorry to hear about your experience, you can ask for your assessment report. I would give them about a week for it to be loaded up on the system before giving DWP a call. After you've asked for your assessment, it will take 6-10 days to arrive.

Hi Peter
You can ring the DWP and ask for a copy of the assessment report. Sorry, you had the experience you did. Sounds utter appalling. No justification for the way you were treated.

Hi
Im so sorry for your terrible experience.
Back in 2010 I had a very similar assessment for esa , I was having treatment for colonic cancer, the questions were so intrusive, I ended the assessment & lost esa.. I stupidly had the satisfaction of the assessors face as I staggered out. Cut my own throat as my hubby had to go back to working away. Now I’m in transition from DLA to Pip and I’m terrified of the eventual F2F.
I really hope the DM is more sympathetic good luck.
