What does this letter mean? was created by ALLISON
I sent off my PIP application and a few weeks ago I received a letter to say they were asking medical professionals I had named for more evidence. Then today I got another letter 'we now have all the information we need to make a decision on PIP award'. Does this mean that they won't need to see me for a face to face? How long will I have to wait for the decision? I am going on holiday on Friday for 3 and a half weeks and worry that if I don't agree with their decision I will miss the window for MR. I did put on my form that I was unavailable during the dates that I am away for but not sure what to do? If something comes while I'm away I don't want to miss out.

Yes, they have been able to do a Paper Based Review and no face to face is required.

PIP Decisions are taking around 2-6 weeks, I'm sorry that I can't be more precise. Your being away from home should be accepted as Good Cause for a Later request for an MR is needs be.
