DLA to PIP Information over the phone

I rang the DWP today to find out what is happening with my claim, she said a letter was sent out yesterday but she wouldn't tell me what it says. Is it normal procedure not to tell you or should I be concerned?

If it was a Decision Letter that has been sent out then they should be able to tell you the result over the phone, perhaps the call operator was being overly cautious as they cannot tell the claimant prior to this.
