They will not be asking you 'how come you got here okay' - they will be asking you literally how you got there - eg public transport, taxi, walking - and did you come alone or were you accompanied. It isn't a trick question - it's a standard question that anyone going to an assessment centre is likely to be asked. If you are distressed when you get there, even if it is not obvious you need to say so to the assessor. You could say that it is close to places you are familiar with, but be aware this can easily lead to assumptions being made about how often you go out and how capable you are of navigating places.
