PIP reassessment was created by Garrod
If my PIP reassessment decision is no, and I appeal, does my PIP automatically stop, or do I still get paid the amount I am currently on while the mandatory reconsideration is in progress? If not and the Mandatory reconsideration is successful do I get back dated any money I have lost during the appeal?

Hi Garrod

If you were given no award at reassessment your money would stop within four weeks. It would probably stop before there was time to do the mandatory reconsideration (but sometimes they are done quite quickly). If the Mandatory reconsideration is successful any monies lost would be backdated.
