How flares in arthritis affect PIP assessment

Hi everyone
As you know flares( periods of intensifed symptoms) ocour in different times of year. Say for example 6 times a year lasting two weeks each. Is it helpful to mention on this way or is it better to explain it interms of good and bad days in a week . Could you please help

Hi Jonathan

You need to talk about good and bad days in a week. To use the example you have given - it would be easy for an assessor to assume that you manage most of the time - 40 weeks of the year - and struggle for 12 weeks. I know that's not what you're saying - but it's just too complicated.
