My friend is currently waiting to hear about renewal of his PIP award.

Meanwhile he has received a letter dated 30 September 2019 asking him to complete a survey online or by phone. He has MH issues and is very troubled: he (and I) fear his PIP result may be influenced by such a survey.

Furthermore, he is not well enough to undertake it: he does not have his own computer and mobile phone coverage is poor and expensive for him.

The small print overleaf does state that 'you have been chosen at random' and 'taking part in this survey is voluntary'. Can we therefore set it aside and just worry about the PIP decision?

Thank you for all that you do
