I didn’t go further than mandatory reconsideration was created by Antonia
Hello my mandatory recon was unsuccessful and I did not pursue further although I feel I was not listened to properly again! I just couldn’t face the stress at the time. I was and still am awarded pip for day to day lower rate. I had hoped for mobility as I often need to take taxis to work due to the effect my illnesses have on my ability to drive. However I have a newly diagnosed condition. I am asking if I could request my pip be re-evaluated taking into consideration this new diagnosis?
Thank you.
Thank you.

You can report a Change of Circumstances but you need to be sure that this condition will result in your scoring the extra points you need for a Mobiliy award.
Reporting a Change will result in a full reassessment of your claim, the Daily Living component as well, you will receive another PIP2 to complete and there will likely be a face to face assessment. The new Decision will supersede your existing award whatever the result might be.
If you do report the new condition then do it in writing and send it to the DWP office dealing with your claim, if you can afford it use a Tracked post so that you have proof of delivery, the date of the letter should set the date that any new award applies from.
