Can you use your Esa medical to support your pip was created by june49
Hello, I wonder if you can help, I've recently had an Esa medical Report dated 29 August 19, was put in Support group on the basis of not being able to mobilise more than 50m. I've just recently had a pip medical, last time I scored 11 points, but didn't receive any points for wearing one hearing aid. This time I have lost 3 points that were given previously for use of Aids for medication, dossette box and Taking nutrition. He claims I had good grip, even though I've had carpal tunnel operations and my hands are very weak, have evidence to support this. I was given points this time for hearing as has detiorated and now need to wear 2 hearing aids, so got points for this. So current assesment report scores me 10 points.
Will the decision maker just follow the current report or consider other evidence? Also I wanted to know if I can use the esa medical report to ask for reconsideration for mobility, as got no points as stated could walk 50m to 200m, this is not the case for the majority of the time.
My other worry is could they take my support group esa away on the basis of the latest pip medical?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

The DM usually follows the recommendation in the assessment report, they can but are unlikely to look at your ESA award for supporting information.
You can submit the ESA assessment report yourself, I would not expect it to have any effect on your ESA award.

For what it's worth, my caree's PIP tribunal has asked to see her most recent ESA paperwork.
