PIP was created by PKP
Hi
I was hoping someone can help
Following my submitting my pip application I got my award letter which was no payment for daily living and enhanced payment for mobility
I sent in a mandatory reconsideration and the the response was that they awarded my the daily living allowance but only the lower level but I am sure on my conditions/scoring that I should get the enhanced payment
Can I send a second mandatory reconsideration or do I need to send in an appeal??
Many thanks

Hi PKP
If you now want to challenge the award you will have to put in for an Appeal. Most areas of the country are taking approximately 45 weeks to hear appeals.

Hi PKP
Yes you can appeal, but you should take note that you can loose what you have already been awarded, at an Appeal they will look at the whole award, not just on what you are appealing.
If you have been awarded the standard daily living component of PIP then this could have a positive effect depending on your circumstances on other benefits, if you are in receipt of any.
