PIP What next? was created by Sallyb
My completed PIP forms were returned to DWP a fortnight ago. Does anyone know how long before I will get the letter arranging an appointment? I'm beginning to feel my anxiety levels building up and they are really affecting me badly.

It should be 2-4 weeks, you can chase the Assessment Provider for your postcode for an update.

Thank you Gordon, may I ask you another question? I'm currently in receipt of DLA ,(high care, low mobility). My award ends on 14/12/19. If the DWP hasn't completed the PIP claim, will my money stop or will they continue to pay me after that date until they make a decision?
This whole process has made me worse I just hope that ESA won't decide to Send out forms too

If needed, your current DLA award will be extended, the PIP Transfer legislation requires this to be done.
