Hi magpiejoe08

The amount of state pension depends on NI contributions. The Pension Act 2014 introduced a new state pension. This only applies if you reach pension age on or after 06/04/2016. The new state pension is called 'New Single Tier Pension' www.gov.uk/new-state-pension/what-youll-get
