Hello everyone can someone please advise me how to notify PIP of changes to my health as worsen medication increased and stronger . Do I call them or write to them if not do I wait for my next assessment that's next year july
I can't tell you that you do not need to contact the DWP about your worsened conditions but they are not usually bothered if a claimant does not, however, you will not be able to backdate any increased award if the DWP has not been contacted.
A deterioration does not always mean that you will receive more points, have you looked at whether you would or not?
If you do report a change then do so in writing and if you can afford it send it by a Tracked post so you have proof of delivery.
Reporting a Change will result in a full reassessment of your claim, as new PIP2 and almost certainly a face to face assessment, the new Decision will supersede your existing award whatever the result is.
