I am due a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) at some point as part of my claim for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). I am not sure when this will be and I am, at the time of writing this post yet to receive a formal appointment asking me to attend one.
However, I am wondering whether I should still go-ahead and request permission for my assessment to be audio-recorded, in the event that I am required to attend one? Would you advise that I do this before, or after I receive a formal appointment?
