PIP appointment was created by Tine51
My PIP runs out in January, In August I received a form to reapply which I filled out saying that most things hadn’t changed, some things have got worse. This morning the dreaded letter arrived saying that I have to go for another face to face interview. I’ve had nightmares about this happening as the one I went to last time was so traumatic. Does anyone know why I would have to go for another interview if I haven’t got better? Is it a bad sign? Are they trying to stop my PIP. Any opinions would be really appreciated

Hi Tine51

It is nothing unusual to face another interview especially if nothing has changed and if your condition has got worse, you may be awarded the enhanced component if you are not already on it.

It is not a bad sign, it just makes some claimants feel they are being picked on for being disabled. We have many examples on this forum where claimants have been successful after getting over their initial fears.
