Pip review and psychotherapy was created by Rainbow
Hi
I’ve had a pip review form through Friday which has sent my anxiety even sky high I’m sure it does with a lot of people. I’ve been seeing a psychotherapist for 2 years now is it worth me asking her for a support letter and what sort of things would she need to write? Thank you

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Rainbow
Yes it is worth asking your psychiatrist for a support letter, do you have a CPN? if you do then you could also ask your CPN for a support letter.
Look in our 'Members only Guides' PIP
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
There is lots of information that can help you such as PIP GP Notes

I don’t have a CPN and I’m waiting to see a psychiatrist for medication review. Which part of the guide can u view the gp notes as I can’t seem to find it.

It's not in the guide, it's a separate document in the PIP area, just scroll down.

Me again
I’m just wandering if DWP decision maker takes notice if I wrote down my medical history in my own words separate from the form? I’ve never done anything like it before so not sure what to do. Thanks

There are sections on the form for explaining your health problems but if you want to explain on a separate sheet and in more detail then it is not a problem, just be aware of the PIP activities when you detail your problems.
