Reporting Healthcare Professional? was created by mosala
The healthcare professional lied and gave me 0 points at re-assessment of PIP. After tribunal I am now awarded enhanced daily living and mobility.
CAB told me that my healthcare professional keeps appearing whilst doing their appeals. She is clearly not doing her job properly and only has commission on her mind. I would like to report her. Who would I report her to and would there be any point.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Mosala
Only you can decide whether it is worth your time about whether to complain about the healthcare professional. We don't often hear of a satisfactory outcome when people do complain.
You can complain here

What do you mean by an unsatisfactory outcome please? Might it affect my benefit or might I have to have another assessment, even though the tribunal have made their decision? In other words could I end up worse off? Or is it that the incompetence continues? Thanks.

Hi Mosala
I didn't say unsatisfactory outcome - I said a 'satisfactory outcome' ie - an outcome that the claimant was satisfied with. People what different things from complaints but some people have felt that nothing was done and therefore they did not receive a 'satisfactory outcome'
There are no implications to you making a complaint. It is a separate process from your claim. You implied that you wanted to complain about the 'professionalism' of the health care professional in that you thought they lied and that is what they would be considering. They would not be looking to reassess your claim - that has been done by the tribunal.
