like most people out there I had my pip examination nothing to do with your actual illness all about can you move your arms and legs. I was marked down from full disability benefits two points off full benefits. I appealed the decision 4 weeks later I got another brown envelope this time I'm getting full disability benefit for 3 years .I was expecting it to go to a tribunal as i have had a tribunal befor for ESA and I won that case. what I gather this time they didn't ask for any evidence from my doctors. In the documents sent to me from mandatory reconsideration I was very surprised to see a complete rundown of my ESA claims over the years and my disability claims along with everything that the examiners over the years have actually said about my disability and what I can and can't do and won't be able to do. For an agency that says they don't share information from one department to another they're blatantly lying my advice for anyone that has to go for a PIP or ESA claim ask for all past claims and the documents to be sent to you maybe you can use some of the information as evidence to backup your claim and contradict what your latest assessment says

Hi thanks for your reply you have been very helpful the areas befalls short that we think the right decision would put him over the 12 points , he has 9 ATM are I dress him he showed at the assessment that he cannot raise his arms enough to put his t shirt on and cannot bend to put on underwear and pants , the assessor put he can do it with aids , also the cooking on , I cook everything he cannot stand with crutches for more than a minute he cannot carry anything because he needs crutches and uses a wheelchair he has got some grip but if he was to try and cut veg or things like that within a minute he would get terrible hand cramps and arm pain , even if they had said he can do it with. Help from someone it would have given him enough point but they said he could do it with aids , welfare rights will only get involved at the tribunal stage. On the form I put my drs numbers down I just though they would contact one of them , I am now going to ask for letters from to , pain management and his specialist ,. But from reading on here the probability of getting this decision overturned is very slim . Thank you for all your help you have been very patient regards Paula

Thanks Kenneth
I will do that , although when i went from incapacity benefit to esa I didn't go for a medical , I remember years ago going for a medical before going on full incapacity he looked at me found out about my illness , looked at my meds and told me he had seen enough and had to phone another doctor to agree with him , I went to the waiting room for 5 mins and then got sent home . So I have been lucky I guess , I will take all the great advice from here and ask for a. MR and . Can I ask does the assessor tick the points. Boxes on the assessment form or does the dwp. Do it when they receive her written statements ?
