Hi. I’ve been sent an appointment for a home pip assessment and I didn’t ask for this. Anyone know why this has happened?

The Assessment Provider obviously thinks you would have difficulty attending at their offices, it is usually a positive thing.

Good luck mamadoo. I've been given the same. I didn't want a home assessment as I live in a tiny bedsit, which is a complete dump due to my mental health issues. The stress of trying to make it clean and hospitable enough for someone to come sit and tick a bunch of PIPAT boxes has given me 2 weeks of crippling anxiety and insomnia.

You should not make any special effort to clean up. It may be embarrassing, but if that's a reflection of how you manage your daily life, you shouldn't try and hide it.
