After the worst WCA I've had so far I've been moved from the WRAG to the Support Group, I'm still in a state of shock. However, I have just received a letter to tell me I am no longer entitled to Income related ESA. Is this anything to worry about or does it mean that because I am in the support group I am now entitled to contributions based ESA? Hope someone can help, thanks.

I would expect the letter to have been in relation to you being in the WRAG where there is a 365 day limit to the time that you can receive ESA(CB), this limit does not apply if you are in the SG.

I would contact the DWP office dealing with your claim to confirm that you are still entitled to payments. I would also check whether you are eligible for Income Related ESA as this would normally be higher than what you would receive for ESA(CB). If you are then it will be paid as a top-up to your ESA(CB).

For me income related was actually lower than contributions based as I'm not entitled to claim anything else. I'll give them a ring and see what's going on.
Thanks very much :)

That would certainly have been the case while you were in the WRAG but it may not now you are in the SG as you are now eligible for the Enhanced Disability Premium which is another £16.80 per week.
