waiting paper based decison

Hi I was informed by Capita 3 weeks ago that I would have a paper based decision, however when I called them today they confirmed there has been no update, I was unhappy so I requested a supervisor to explain why, the reason they gave was a paper based assessment is being completed, its been given to a disability assessor who is completing the report, but there is no timeframe and this take time depending on what evidence been given. As they are not health professional they cant comment on where the report stand at the moment however they can chase up the information and see where the report is at and suggest to phone back next week. I myself have provided all the medical information regarding my disabilities and GP report, also my claim should be straightforward as my disabilities are from birth and are lifelong. Would be interested in anyone else giving feedback on how long they have waited for a paper based decision from the time Capita confirmed that they would be getting a paper based decision. I find it hard to get my head around why there is no timescale, I may be waiting months for a decision. I have now been waiting 3 months from start of claim.

I feel that this system where they have no timescale to do straightforward reports where all medical evidence is provided is so unfair to those waiting for a decision.

Hi I have contacted Capita again and was told my pip assessment report was sent to dwp last Friday, I have not received a text message yet from dwp, is it to early to request a copy of the health assessment report?
