no medical non attendance letter?

hello - i want to provide an update on this and then ask another new question. -
thankyou for your suggestions -
I wrote to DWP and raised a complaint about two matters 1. stopping PIP without any notice, letter or even sending a questionnaire about non attendance.
2. requesting that the claimants rights be not circumvented as they had been by the above process and a right to reply.
3. My MP supported my argument.

a reply was received by text from DWP reinstating the PIP and backdating the missing payments.
secondly a letter was received from DWP stating the rate of payment going forward and April increase and statement of Indefinite decision.

this I thought was the end of the matter.
recently i received a further text from DWP stating they had now received my PIP form and would be processing it within 6 weeks.
my surgery then wrote to say they had received an assessment PIP form to be completed.

my new question is -
why if DWP have made a decision and sent out a decision letter to me - they are now seeking further medical information - which I am assuming is part of the ongoing process of assessment and will be followed by a medical appointment offer?

recently then received a text from DWP stating they had received my form and now surgery has been asked for medical evidence
do DWP have their wires crossed or are they restarting the whole process ??
