UC work capability award length was created by Becky
Back in September, I received an email from Universal Credit indicating I should check my Universal credit account for an update on my 'capability for work assessment.' They had contacted my GP and following her report back to them they decided I have Limited capability for work and work-related activity without having to have a face to face assessment. There is no mention of any time limit, it just says I may be reassessed in the future. I am visually impaired and my right leg drags, both due to multiple sclerosis. Any ideas of a time scale for reassessment, bearing in mind MS is progressive?

Many congratulations on the award, well done.

UC awards can be reassessed at any time after three months have elapsed and up to two years for LCW and three years for LCWRA, if you contact the UC Hotline they may be able to tell you your likely reassessment date as it will be on your computer record.
