I was on DLA for many years ,several months ago I was sent the PIP form , I filled it in and sent it off ,I heard nothing but was paid my DLA as per usual .Today i got a a letter saying they have all the information they need to decide if they can award me PIP .Why have they not called me in for a face to face assessment and is the letter good or bad news
It must mean that they have decided to do a paper-based assessment rather than call you for a face to face assessment. Only 3% of PiP assessments are paper-based so I think many people would consider you have been very fortunate. There is nothing sinister in this, they must think from the evidence provided they have no need to see you.

Thanks for replying and putting my mind at ease somewhat .i thought it meant that my application wasn't worth an interview and I was being turned down .hopefully good news then
