Hi I've just received a white envelope in post confirming an appointment for a face to face consultation at home. Is this the norm? The time isnt convenient will they hold it against me, if I request a different time.
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
Home assessments are not common but your receiving one is not unusual it is just an acceptance by the Assessment Provider that you would struggle to attend at their offices.
You can rearrange the appointment once, you will have to attend the new one or you risk your claim being closed for failing to attend. There won't be any negative view if you rebook.
