Hi can I say many thanks for your fantastic information in past posting
I have a question ,
Today. I asked for my reconsideration of my pip award I am on higher rate mobility and standard living but I believe I should be on higher rate living .
I asked for a reconsideration of the living part but was told they have to look at it all again,, is this correct . I did it on the phone now I have28 days to send in my evidence .

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Rince2028
The information is correct. If you put in for a mandatory reconsideration they look at the award in its entirety, not one part of it.

im at my wits end i paid £25 for a doctors letter and wrote on the form i wanted an detailed report of my conditions and understood this could cost more and all he wrote was
at present mr
is struggling with a significant mood disorder , he has limited mobility and is currently under the care of the pain team, these activities affect his activities of daily living
i support his application for PIP
hes missed out im under 3 other specialists , would you call this sufficient , im worried to send this to my reconsideration
also can you send things off the internet explaining your conditions because i know its not allowed with first applications ? but on previous appeals years ago welfare rights submitted some as evidence
many thanks

If you are not happy with the GP letter then speak to them about it, especially if you are paying for it.
If you think it will help to include information about your conditions then do so but remember, DMs are not medically trained and have short attention spans so keep it short and to the point and include a link to the information that you are quoting from.
