I sent my esa50 form back they received it 14 weeks ago now. I haven't heard anything back from them. I am currently in support group. I struggle to talk over the phone so am unable to phone them. on 31st October I received a letter from esa Basildon it says YOUR CLAIM FOR ESA, A CHANGE IN THE ESA RATE PAYABLE. WE HAVE LOOKED AT YOUR CLAIM FOLLOWING A RECENT CHANGE. FROM 12 APRIL 2019 YOUR ESA WILL BE £194.30 A WEEK. THE LETTER ALSO MENTIONS IF YOU THINK THE DECISION IS WRONG. is this an award letter just it doesn't mention my esa50 I sent 14 weeks ago. I have had no medical. thanks

It could be a Decision Letter but these letters seem to be easily triggered and often are confusing as to what they are documenting.

I'm afraid the only way for you to know is to contact the DWP, is there anybody who could phone on your behalf?

Don't panic (easier said than done)

I know of one that's been with 'em for 11 months now!
