When transitioning from DLA to PIP and not happy with the award therefore proceed to Mandatory reconsideration does your payments stop or are you paid at the rate of PIP you have been awarded?
You should be paid your DLA until four weeks after the PIP decision and then you should be switched over and paid regardless of your MR. If you are awarded an increased it will be backdated to the decision date.
