ESA - Have there been any changes to the form? was created by Ed
Hello all. It's time to complete my new ESA50 form. I always need help to complete the form and its a very slow process.
I am a paid member but no longer have the ability to remember all the information I receive.
So we have searched the forum but can't find answers to the questions I have. I wonder if someone can advise?
When we completed my last form, in December 2018, we used the very helpful advice in the members area. We were thinking of using my old form as the base for submitting the new one, along with my up-to-date medical evidence and the significant changes to my conditions.
These are my questions.
1: Have there been any changes to the questions on the ESA50 since December 2018?
2: Have there been any changes to the points system since then?
3: Are there any changes to the advice you gave on completing the form, since then?
Many thanks in advance for any help.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Edmond
We have updated our guides, latest version is September 2019
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants
The advice would be the same, download the latest guide and follow it slowly. If it raises any question whilst you are completing your ESA 50 form then post them on the forum.
If there has been no change in your circumstances then I would use your old form as a template, if your condition has deteriorated or improved then explain on the form what has changed for the better or worse, if you have new supporting documents to help with your claim send them in.
