I've read that people are waiting a long long time to finally get an award on appeal, is this because it takes a long time to get a court date?
Any ideas on how long it takes as I put in an appeal a month ago and dwp have just replied to it.
Thanks.

Hi Pinkie
There are slight variations around the country, but the best you can probably hope for is a wait of 42 weeks for a court date.

OMG, I really wasn't expecting that. I'm in Scotland by the way. Thanks for the heads up though.

Hi Pinkie
Sorry, I didn't know you were in Scotland. I can't find specific waiting times for Scotland, but they may be much shorter. I would contact the court who will be able to give you more up to date information.
