PIP letter reads will be contacted after Jan 2020

Hello my fellow members,
I have just joined.
I am wondering if anyone had like me on their PIP award letter a mention on page 2 something in the line of :

“We will also contact you while you’re getting PIP to see if your needs have changed and to look at the amount you get this will be after xx January 20xx”
It says we will be contacted after a specific date.
I am very worried.
May I ask how long anyone has had to wait to be contacted by DWP PIP after the given date, was it a matter of Days? Weeks? or Months?

I find it odd that my claim expires on XX Jan 2021 and yet they ,will contact me after xx Jan 2020. I am hoping it will be many months after that close to Jan 2021.

I would be grateful if I could get an idea of how long it took some fellow members to be contacted after their given date on their PIP award letter.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I was worried as I read some people were contacted a year before their award ended. Hopefully that late trend will carry on and give us more time to prepare for the review.

I forgot to mention.
Today I got a letter to renew my bus disabled pass that is supposed to renew at the end of next march (that is when checking my pip award letter as evidence for transport I realised pip would contact me after xxjan 2020.

I am worried that if I send to Transport a certificate of entitlement to pip, they may contact PIP and that they trigger an earlier review of PIP.

Do you think that is possible?
