Hi Sylv
A mandatory reconsideration can only consider how you were at the time of your assessment. In your own words, you say the symptoms 'were not that bad', and therefore the question you need to ask yourself is 'am I likely to score more points at the MR stage?'
You say you were not happy with the result, but you need to read the report, and see where you missed out on points to get the enhanced level and consider whether you have a realistic chance of doing so. If you believe that you were not scored highly enough, errors or inaccuracies were made then go for the mandatory reconsideration understanding the risks of doing so.
Your other option is you can put in for a change of circumstances and report that your symptoms have got a lot worse - which will trigger a review and another face to face assessment.
