There is not enough information in your post to give you any advice such as do you receive PIP or DLA, if you do which components do you receive, will you be living on your own, you need this information before we can say if you will need to claim UC or not?

www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators I usually use Turn2us, if you are not very good with computers you can contact their helpline 0808 802 2000 and they will do the calculations over the phone. You do need to have all your benefit details to hand including council tax.
