advise with uc medial and pip was created by bat19
My wife had a uc medial assessment in august she told them that she was having blackouts and had back pain and got arthritis but was refused she did a mandatory got refused she has appeal to the tribunal aswell.now she been told she has fibromyalgia she been told by her uc adviser to fill a pip form.so would she have to do a uc medial assessment again

Was she suffering from the effects of the Fibromyalgia when she was assessed even though she had no diagnosis or has her condition deteriorated since then because of the FM.

If the former, then it can be included in her appeal. If the latter then she can ask to be reassessed for Limited Capability for Work under UC but she will need a new Fit Note from her GP specifically detailing the new condition and it must be clear to the DWP that she would now meet the criteria for an award of LCW for her to be reassessed. This would be a full reassessment, a new ESA50 and almost certainly a face to face assessment.

yes she had the effects of fm for over a year but we didnt know it was fm she had test but all came back nothing she had a mr scan she blackout when she was in the mr her eyes round in back of her head the doctor say
