May I just clarify how to contact DWP, PIP & ESA etc.
When you say "to confirm in writing" to any of the above mentioned, to confirm, say, a telephone conversation or request etc. you mean by postal snail mail? It's just that I've been caught out with someone asking me for written confirmation and it turning out they were expecting an email confirmation.
