ESA/DLA to PIP/Universal credit ? was created by Moose21
Hi. I have recently rejoined and been reading others post so just a couple of questions. I am in receipt of ESA (CB) and DLA (middle rate care/lower rated mobility) and Child Benefit. I am separating from my husband and moving with my 9 year old to a housing association property. I have been told that when I move property I will be eligible for ESA(IB), Severe Disability Premium and Enhanced Disability Premium and then apply for Housing Benefit and Council tax benefit, child tax credits and told my DLA will remain the same This has been checked by the CAB. Is this correct ? as I seem to be reading on here that people are being moved onto Universal Credit ? Thanks in advance.
