I have just had a DWP officer come to help me fill in my new PIP form They want me to apply for PIP due to changes to my condition Being SSI blind I really hope that this officer has helped me and filled in the form Any one else had a DWP officer attend you home and helped to fill out the PIP forms ? And like to know what percent are my chances of getting this benefit. The RNIB have great support to me This now is going to hell to my nerves and my depression for the next few weeks .
I have known a number of people who have had help from DWP officer with their forms, I do not remember any of them not being successful. The claimants were happy with their awards, I visited for follow up work, such as claiming SDP element.
As to your question 'what percent are my chances of getting this benefit', answer, I don't know. It depends as to what support documents you produce to help with your claim
