My pip review form has not arrived yet. My pip ends august 2020. I was thinking of asking my gp for a letter now in anticipation. How long is a gp letter valid for?
Most review forms are being sent out 6 months before the end date of a claim. The letter would be valid if you got it now, but personally I would wait until you receive the form. Even a six month old letter from a GP can appear to an assessor that you don't have much contact with your doctor. (It's different with hospital consultants).
