ESA85 query was created by Deb
Hello, after a successful WCA, and being put straight back into the support group for ESA, I asked them to send me a copy of the report.
Can anyone tell me what this means?...
“The medical evidence and assessment today suggests the clients conditions are unlikely to improve and is consistent with a severe condition as defined. As per departmental police the category of no further assessments cannot apply where the outcome is cancer treatment , Risk ( LCWRA) ‘
It then goes onto say that I will not improve as there are no further treatments and “there is no realistic prospect of recovery, as there are no further treatment options. She will always meet LCWRA criteria for mobilising due to this.”
What does LCWRA mean and is there anything in this jargon that says I won’t be called for another assessment?
I don’t understand the terminology!
Thank you

First of all congratulations on the award, well done

Limited Capability for Work Related Activiy (LCWRA) is the term used for the criteria associated with the Support Group.

If you have been excused from further assessment then it will say so on the Decision Letter, if it does not then I'm afraid you will be reassessed probably in three years.

Thank you Gordon. My letter doesn’t say that, so I guess I will keep being assessed!
