Home assesment ... was created by Bud
Hi all
I've had a letter today for a home assessment, I've called them to ask if I can hand over further evidence at the assessment but they said no. Is this true? They said it was something to do with data protection.
Thanks.

I am not aware of any restriction on your doing this due to Data Protection, maybe ring back and ask for an explanation.

Bud, at my PIP home assessment the assessor asked if I had any further supporting evidence to give to her. I handed her a letter from my MS nurse that was sent to me that week and it was used to support my PIP award. Its contents were mentioned in her report.

I think they meant taking confidential info away rather than me posting it direct to them, & that it could go missing in the process. But I didn't wan to post it as it may not get there on time.
Thanks anyway, I'll just post it.

Thanks Becky.
I can't actually remember, but I'm sure I've done this before too. I'm now thinkin gthat Ican post a copy & give a copy at the assessment, just to make sure. But then it could confuse them, as they already seem to be sending 2 of everything to me
