esa disability payments was created by Tony818
Having recently had a PIP medical review, I have had the daily living component raise to enhanced My mobility component stays the same as enhanced. With both components at the max will I entitled to additional disability payments on my ESA claim.
I am in the support group of the contribution component of ESA at present .
Once again you advise will be invaluable should I have difficulties.
kindest regard.

An Enhanced award of Daily Living makes you entitled to payment of the Enhanced Disability Premium but this is also payable if you are in the ESA Support Group so should already be in payment providing you are eligible to receive Income Related ESA.

Hi Clare

The enhanced disability premium does not apply to pension credits. It is £16.80 a week for a single person and £24.10 for a couple where one or both qualify. You or your partner qualify for this premium if you are paid a qualifying benefit:

for ESA, are in the support group
for HB, can be treated as having limited capability for work-related activity

The qualifying benefits are:
1) for PIP the enhanced rate of the daily living component
2) for DLA the highest care component
3) armed forces independence payment

The enhanced disability premium can be awarded in addition to any disability premium or severe disability premium that may be payable. It is only payable while the person who qualifies is under pension age.

I would contact the DWP, you may be entitled to a back pay if you qualify.
