I submitted a change in circumstances in july 19, had a face to face on 17th oct. Had text message and letter saying report received and with decision maker. Rang dwp this morning to be told that they've requested more info. But she couldn't say who from or how long it would take. Is this normal? Thanks all.

Hi Sunshine

It does sometimes happen that the DWP request more information. This may be from the assessor or from a medical professional like a GP or consultant. They do this when they believe they don't have enough information to make a decision or they think that something is unclear and they want it clarified.

Thanks for your reply. I know things can take a while, but it's been 26 weeks since I requested the form and 11 weeks since the assessment. I had a letter from dwp stating they had the report approx 9 weeks ago, so not sure what the hold up is. I even submitted evidence from an occ therapist when I put the claim in. I've got a condition where fatigue is a major part of what I have to deal with......something that I'm concerned is still seen as an invisible symptom!
