i am enquiring about payments made for e.s.a and p.i.p while in nursing home, will they have to be paid back and do you have to inform the d.wp of change of circumstances.
ESA should not be directly affected but maybe indirectly impacted if the person has Premiums that are the result of their PIP award.
For PIP the first question is how are the fees for the Nursing home paid? If it is being financed by the claimant or their relatives then their PIP should remain in payment, however, if it is the Local Authority or the NHS then the Daily Living component is no longer payable with the knock-on effect that any Premiums in the ESA dependant on that DL award also won't.
