Does anyone know what percentage of claimants don't go on to Appeal having been turned down at MR?
Thanks

I'm afraid not as the information is issued by two different Government departments, the DWP for the number of failed or reduced awards and HM Courts and Tribunals for the appeals.
I can tell you that appeal Decisions represent only about 5% of all Decisions so there is a considerable gap.
Conversely, the success rate at appeal is about 75%.

Thanks Gordon, that's really helpful. Would be interesting to know how many claimants give up at this stage (and if they knew what the Appeal success rate was, whether they would continue....)
