ESA renewal date was created by Jacquiki
Good morning moderators
I have been in sg for the last 6 yrs aging had 2 renewals. The cure one stated it was due until 1st feb 2019. I haven’t heard anything from them as to a possible reassessment.
Do you think I should call them or could this then nudge an esa50 through the post

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Badders
Only you can decide what to do. If it's worrying you, you could ring up and ask when you are likely to be reviewed. If they are behind it won't trigger your renewal happening any quicker. Or if you're continuing to receive your money and you're happy with that, you can just sit it out.

Hi to Badders, and to all fellow subscribers.
I too am in the same boat. But I won't be contacting them as I don't want to rock the DWP boat, so long as I'm getting my payments that is.
Hopefully this will continue for a very long time.
All the best.

Hi to all,
In my experience, phoning the DWP and asking when a review is due it has never triggered one.
I last phoned just before Christmas and was told I was due a review in December last year, but there was no date on the computer records. I
have heard nothing since.
I have read several times that the DWP are trying to cut down on the number of reassessments both for ESA and PIP, particularly when there is little point in doing so.
As for me, the fact that it is documented with both my PIP and ESA that I never go out alone due to complex mental health problems,
and that I reach state retirement in 2 years, it does seem pointless to summon me again as I doubt any employer would set me on with my carer being by my side.
However, I doubt this would stop the DWP from trying.
Phrank.
