PIP Phoning DWP For Decision was created by Paul
Hi, my wife had her PIP F2F home assessment on 17.12.2019, we received copy of assessors report beginning of January which indicated 12 points for mobility and 9 for daily care.. Don`t know how long until DWP final decision will take to arrive (which we know can go up or down from assessor`s report)....Can we phone DWP to see if their final decision has been reached or must we wait for their letter to arrive as my wife is really stressed out over the whole procedure.. Many thanks for any advice..

A Decision should be 6-8 weeks but this might be delayed by Xmas and the New Year, you can phone but they can only tell you whether a Decision has been made or not until the Letter is registered as having been posted on their system.
